The Norwegian albatross claim referred to above (link doesn’t work) was never submitted and thus neither accepted nor rejected.
It was seen (off Finnøy, Rogaland) by a non-birder who sent a picture of it to his father; I wonder why, if it was to be a hoax, he didn’t send it to any birders. With the photos not showing required technical details, it would probably have got a tough treatment by the Norwegian rare birds committee had it been submitted. A picture of it appears in DB 41: 187.
Thursday 2nd May 2019 was quite a day in Norway with the following four species reported: Grey-headed Lapwing, Tristan Albatross, Lesser Short-toed Lark and White-crowned Sparrow.
