With this final round the main part of the Masters-of-Mystery competition has come to an end. The competition started with 130 contestants and finished with 18 active contestants. 180 persons have submitted answers in this competition. The final ranking of the top 19 is shown below. It must be mentioned that some contestants at rank 4 to 7 did not submit answers in some of the final rounds. The top 8 of contestants (rank 1 to 3) did submit answers in all 25 rounds.

The preliminary winners of the Masters-of-Mystery competition are Andrew Holden, Chris Batty and Nils van Duivendijk. These 3 contestants get one more chance to win the competition (and price!) in a ‘shootout’-round, which will be soon presented here. Everybody can take part in this extra round, but only the answers of Andrew Holden, Chris Batty and Nils van Duivendijk will determine the winner of the competition. The ‘shootout’-round consists of 6 mystery birds and the answers should be submitted within 2 weeks. In case of a draw the competition will end with 2 or 3 winners, and the price winner will be drawn.
